Our Pedagogy
The art of teaching children is one that involves a deep understanding of their psychological, physical, and social needs at a young age. We created a place for your child using natural objects and materials, where they learn to respect our natural resources. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilio and Maria Montessori methods where materials matter. Open-ended materials are carefully selected for its purpose of enhancing your child's learning and discovery. Your child will be able to express their imagination as they work with materials that come to life as they transform and manipulate them in more ways than one. Our environment has been thoughtfully organized and designed to encourage collaboration, communication and exploration.
Words we live by…
"The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn." - Maria Montessori
"The teacher must adopt the role of facilitator not content provider." - Lev. S. Vygotsky
"In the Reggio Emilia preschools, however, each child is viewed as infinitely capable, creative, and intelligent. The job of the teacher is to support these qualities and to challenge children in appropriate ways so that they develop fully." - Louise Boyd
